Dude.

Mist of fury is getting good.

SO GOOOOOD

Originally I wanted to start this thread with Chapter 46. But before we do I really wanna talk about... chapter 42. While waiting for my plane, I cozied up at a spot in the floor and started reading this chapter where they go to the Night Court under the mountain.

And damn.

I've seen the fanarts of her on Rhys's lap, but they were really all snuggling up on that throne a little hot and heavy.

In front of everyone.

All for Azriel to do his thing and get this orb thingie. Anyways, heres the fan art to get in the mood. GOOD FUCKING CHAPTER. Spicy outfit. And I can't wait for my boyfriend to read it ;)

And also THE STARFALL SCENE <3 <3 I just had to play my Fantasy playlist on Spotify to get in the mood and it was just so beautiful. I love the dynamic between Rhys and Feyre after the underground party. How they were technically paintball fighting with splattering stars, and Feyre PAINTED again on his hand and they dance with everyone at the festival.

Rhys is in love with her- true true love. He was just a person in this scene with her after all their ups and downs. I had to take a pic of it.

So cute.

Okay so today at work I read the end of 46 and my jaw literally dropped.

Oh shit, my boy!

LUCIEN!

Dude, I love Lucien. He was a chill character and I still hope he is GRR!!! Sounds like he is through Chapter 48 trying to talk to Feyre.

(I love this picture)

He's just trying to do his job man. But he really cares about Feyre. Tamlin is just toxic. Keeping secrets.

Lucien, you don't understand bro.

But his character resembles that loyal friend, I feel. He may not know Rhys all that well but some shit went down between him and his boy Tamlin. At the end of the chapter he's like "You're dead Rhys. You and your people" Poof.

Toxicity rubbing on him :( Lucien... if only you knew the truth about killing Rhys's family.

But Feyre's a biter. Talking back at him, she grew WINGS. And didn't she said earlier she'd like to have wings? Damn, powerful scene. Spread your wings girl. Size him up.

"Don't lock me in my room ever again I can drive now."

I hope she can fly in this series.

Alright then to chapter 48 where Feyre and Rhys are at the small attic room...

Guys, I'm so glad I paused in this chapter so I can finish it at home while I got super stoned.

SECK-Z. Sarah you're killing it with these scenes.

WHEW. Girl. Thanks.

And I get these memes now about Rhys getting a inn room with only one bed. He need the excuse to hit it.

But damn. Very Bryce and hunt vibes with intense fingering. Feyre was drunk too and just ate. She's feeling so good.

But Rhys didn't take her.

He respects.

My man.

The next morning Feyre woke up well rested. Shit I would too. But it looked like she felt a little odd when Rhys said in response to her "so why you bargained those three weeks to kick it with me?"

"Because I wanted to make a statement to amarantha; because I wanted to piss off Tamlin, and I needed to keep you alive In a little while that wouldn't be seen as merciful"

She literally went "Oh."

"You know - you know there is nothing I wouldn't do for my people, for my family," he says.

Hold up... Is Feyre being used again? Just for Rhys to piss others off??

That... Sucks. Highschool shit. Correct me if I'm wrong. That's not cool.

They fly in the skies in the next chapter, things are a little awkward. But he wanted to tell her something. Then OMFG he gets shot by poisoned arrows.

I never imagined Rhys so fucking weak.

Losing.

I was not having a good time yet reading this shit to the spine.

Feyre literally becomes Night Crawler in the woods and traces Rhys like a fucking boss and kills some bad guys, ripping the chains off him. THIS SCENE WAS SO COOL. Yes.

She gets her man and blinks him to a cave to care for him and tells the story about the painted drawers as she's pulling out the damn arrows ( D; ) We descover why Nesta had fire, because slways angry. But Feyre's drawer had stars, the night sky, as she's meant to be at the night court looking for the circle.

Rhys before he blacked out said he was looking for her too.

Next chapter Feyre hits up The Suriel and gets the cheat-codes on how to heal Rhys. Of course the solution... sucking her magical blood.

And some weed.

But then the Suriel had to slip in "mate" as he was casually giving instructions.

Feyre:

Suriel: Yeah Rhys is your mate, you didn't know?

Feyre: Bro wtf?

Honestly her reaction was so funny to me.

I should be careful in these FB groups because I kinda sorta maybe got spoiled seeing their family photos and shit. I fucked up... and sorry if I spoiled anything more else.

But then she's ... Not happy about it. Not at all.

She straight up walks in the cave threw some pink weed at him and fucking CUTS herself right in front of him. H

Rhys:

Feyre: DRINK. ME.

Rhys gets ressed.

Then she starts interrogating the poor guy.

And it was so great.

I also had a OHHH moment too. So after I finished ACOTAR I made my boyfriend read it, thinking iits right up his alley with this strong huntress type character.

He fucking loved it, and boy he's gonna fucking love chapter 49!

But he also repointed out to me that Rhys kinda glitched out in the end. Lost connection; just disappeared Poof. Deleted.

(His eyes locked on mine, wide and wild, and his nostrils flared. Shock- pure shock flashed across his features at whatever he saw on my face, and he stumbled back a ste. Actually stumbled.

"What is-" I began.

"He disappeared- simply disappeared, not a shadow in sight--into the crisp air.")

Now Rhys is saying he suspected the whole mate thing because he felt the bond snap between them after she got Made, and it was so powerful he was terrified and vanished. Kept that a secret for almost two years.

AND AMRAN AND MOR KNOW. Omggg!!

Then Rhys calls himself a mess like how she called him out earlier. That shit still hit him hard. He's like "you wouldn't wanna mate with a mess, you just wanted fun"

Ouch.

But Rhys seemed legit he starts going off how it drove him crazy keeping this from her. She'd be signing up for a crazy life with everyone up her ass and he didn't want that. But he gives her what she wants at least - some fun. Finger fun.

Not enough. "Take me back to the camp NOW"

When he winnowed to the camp they land in the mud, mostly Rhys. But I fucking love this- Feyre didn't help the dude up. She walked away leaving him A LITERAL MESS.

DAMNNNN

Feyre savage she's Detroit material.

But Holy shit MOR IS QUEEN TOO.

I love what she did for Feyre in this last chapter. "Just take me somewhere far away," Feyre days.

Mor: Nuff said I got you.

They plopped in a nice Airbnb cottage on sunny snow-land , was open about everything, top security ward system, lit the fire and summoned a big ass buffet, this girl... True homie.

And true cousin. I understand it wont go through Feyre's head now but Mor was like "he's just really happy with you man."

"Nope."

"Okay. Have a good weekend, by the way, I got a hot bath running too for you."

"Oh fuck yeah."

*CLAP CLAP CLAP*

Great end to part two. Damn this book series is FIRE!!!

So this is my first ever fantasy book series I've read. Or the book series Im first committed to really. Going back in time I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Junie B Jones, I tried Hunger Games in middle school but I got busy. I got too hooked up binging TV shows so I didn't become a book person. But I did like to write.

For my birthday my boyfriend got me the whole series in hardcover baby, and I'm going to eat this up. I actually started with his copy of Crescent City he never picked up, enjoyed it a LOT so fun modern future fantasy, and got loaned the first book of acotar which got me hooked.

It's like the fucking Marvel universe.

I see so many similarities within the two different worlds. It's super cool! I can get into this. AND YES IT SO DESERVES A HULU SPOT!

I'm aware I will eventually have to read Throne of Glass, already wondering what kinda era is that. Crescent City is like in the present time, or if not, the future. ACOTAR is in the fantastical past probably like the Witcher world or Lord of the Rings.

Thone of Glass, though? I don't know much of aside from Sarah writing this when she was in highschool and it's a remix of Cinderella. And ACOTAR was literally like beauty of the beast - super dope!

Was Crescent City inspired by another fairy tale ?

Anyways I'm very impressed by this series, and I can tell so far why Mist of Fury is the most favorite. Sliver Flames I heard was vulgar af.

And I'm excited ;)

So onward we go into this MADNESS. Let's see how Rhys wins Feyre back. Let's see what happens to Lucien torn between homies. Let's see Tamlins and Rhys go magical WORLD STAR on us, and Feyre shutting that shit down beating both their asses.

And Azriel kicking it with Mor. You'll get her buddy.

Somehow.

If not, hit me up :) !
